Minnie Street Style

November 9, 2017

Hi friends, happy day! I'm really excited to be partnering with some of my favorite brands to bring you this fun look! I've always said that Minnie Mouse is my style icon and I mean it! She's feminine and classy but also bold and colorful. I wanted this look to be exactly that, only a little more street practical (because I feel that sums up how I like to dress.) I like to be comfortable but as cute as possible so mixing and matching my go to pieces is the trick to putting together new outfits while still wearing all my favorite things. If you're a Disney loving gal, I know you'll love this look too.

Polka dot top is from Anthropologie- it has a cozy knit feel and I found the sleeveless style to be perfect for layering! You could pair this with a skirt + add some heels and it's an adorable date night look.

Skinny Black Jeans are also from Anthro and they are an absolute staple in my wardrobe! I love the fit because they have sketch which makes them comfy to wear all day long. Plus the length is perfect for my super long legs!

Gold Pointed Flats are from Rothy's and let me share a little about this incredible company! This brand is new to me so I (off course) had to try them out before giving my honest review... well, I love them! Their shoes are made from recycled water bottles..so cool!! The process of creation is fascinating and I'd encourage you to read all about it if you're interested in learning more. A few other features that really drew me in were that the shoes are machine washable, moisture wicking and blister- free seamless knit edges. All of these things are important to me for both comfort and convenience, so the fact that they have toooons of adorable prints and colors was just a BONUS! The style I'm wearing above is the gold herringbone with just a tiny accent of vibrant blue. They feel so light, easy to wear and suble enough to pair with anything. For this look, I felt the gold mirrored Minnie's iconic yellow shoes perfectly.

Headband is from Rarity By Casey, a brand I talked about on my previous blog post. Because I was going for a street look as opposed to a park look, having a hair accessory kinda acts as the Minnie ears. Plus I couldn't resist adding even more polka dots.

Minnie Cross body Bag is from Loungfly and has been my go to for casual wear AND park days. It holds all my necessities but it's still light weight. I get compliments on this bag constantly which is a really fun way to start up a conversation with someone new (especially outside of the Disney bubble. Haha)

Disney Denim Jacket is from Zara and unfortunately it's completely sold out right now. There may be some options on Ebay though! Always check there when looking for popular sold out times.

Last details to jazz up the look, Minnie Bow Ring (can be found at WDW) + red lipstick.
