Hi friends! Recently I have been super busy packing, planning and prepping for my trip to Tokyo, Japan next week. While there, Scott and I will be going to Disneyland and Disney Sea so I wanted to share some of the fun things i'm PACKING! I'll link as much as I can for you and if you see an item that interests you, just click on the title to shop it.
*Although I'm working/collaborating with multiple companies, I only ever promote brands I've already been shopping from for awhile and that I would authentically recommend. I do not advertise anything I wouldn't buy for myself.*
Minnie Vans sold out (Similar- Mickey ones)
From what i've read online, it appears that Tokyo will be in a bit of a rainy season this month which would probably bum most people out but NOT ME.
A few of my very favorite items in my wardrobe are my rain jackets simply because I wear them SO MUCH and they're really cute and comfortable! It rains a lot in FL so I always have a jacket in my bag with me. I get all of mine from Pretty Little Monograms because they have so many choices for styles, colors and a variety of monogram options. The Mouse Bow Pack-N-Go Pullover is my all time favorite because it's really light and folds up super small to fit in even my smallest purse. (I went with classic black, red & yellow but you can choose between a bunch of colors for both the jacket and monogram.) I recently got this Lost Princess jacket and Steamboat Mouse jacket which I love as well! They are a thicker and warmer style that zip up. Use code "OHYEAHEM" at check out to receive 10% OFF YOUR ORDER!
I always like to be prepared with warm layers if I get cool early in the morning, late at night or in restaurants, etc. So I was very excited when UNIQLO released a collection of varsity style Mickey Minnie Travels Souvenir Jackets. Even though they had a really cute Tokyo style that was so perfect for my trip, I opted for this LA style because I couldn't resist the colors and my favorite..PALM TREES! Rarely do Scott and I match but he loved them too so he got the Mickey Mouse World Tour style. Can't wait to wear them in our first international Disney park!
I don't believe in having too many fun bags!
(Character denim jacket is from Zara but it is currently sold out. You can try searching Ebay!)
The next few pieces I'm just crazy about! Y'all know I'm a huge dress lover, especially the swing/shift styles. I love to be comfortable AND stylish so when Asos hooked me up with this collection of colorful prints I was thrilled! When I think of Tokyo, I think fun, bold and colorful street style. I'll be rocking tons of polka dots, stripes and even rainbows!
Check out ASOS to find adorable pieces at a superrrrr affordable cost! (They make bargain hunting so easy because ALL the prices are so low.) Plus there's so many options in every category, no matter your style!
Vacation means bringing out all the cozy outfits! Also, can we please address the 16 hour flight i'm about to be going on?! UGH. You better believe i'll be dressing as comfy and over-the-top as I want!
If you didn't know, my husband Scott and myself own a really fun apparel brand called OH YEAH APPAREL. We make magical tees and accessories for Disney fans that like to wear something a little more special then just standard gift shop merch. We love love love coming up with unique twists on Disney classic characters, attractions and stories. Here's some goodies i'm bringing with me on my trip! LOOK AT ALL THOSE PRETTY COLORS.. i'm obsessed! (Oh did I mention I'm totally a baseball cap wearer now? Yeah that's new.)
The last few pieces I'm sharing I was just planning to pack them then figure out how I'd put them in outfits when I get there, but then I thought, HEY! This is actually a perfect outfit right here. Ha! My Lilo & Stitch bag obviously being the shining star. It's currently sold out but check out HARVEYS because they have a ton of cool Disney bags.
Shop my hat HERE and my blue dress is an oldie from Anthro as well.
Shoes are Toms and I've had them for years and they've never failed me. Highly recommend Toms for long park days. (But avoid rain days!)
Hope you liked this post! To be real, I love just packing/outfit planning and I really enjoy seeing what other people are packing for their own trips. (P.S. i'll be packing some normal things too. Haha. Just wanted to share some of the special and extra fun things!)
Big thanks to Emma Shourds Photography for working on this project with me.
